I use it 3X per week and have been for a number of yrs. I can see doing compound excercises with free weights and finishing with a bowflex or mix and match. Umm If your gonna pay that much for equipment you might as well open your own workout gym for public You can use the same stuff at a public gym basically free.

I sight and sound theater have seen them in the Flex magazine listing for about the same amount as what I paid yrs ago. They are not built as well as mine but are way cheaper. Neither are: Body Solid pro smith or the old style Body Solid linear machines. I have a set of free-weights that goes from 5-110 lbs (im 15 and jsut started so its more than enough for me) for 100$ , radio nuevo mundo de guatemala you gotta get it in 1 big set.

buying it seperatly a couple at a time is just way to expensive. We added a Vertex three way bench andLIFE IS GOOD. It does help when no one will/or is around to spot you.
Its really strudy and bulit awsome.

I think they provide the security you need without sacrificing too much in form and stabilizer muscles (just my opinion though).

My latest contraption is sticking two pipes in the holes that the rack pins would normaly fit in and then laying the other end of the pipe onto the smith bar.

otherwise your waisting money You would think the bowflex was good for mass, the last time i seen the tv-ad it had up to 410 lbs resistance. I think the real secret to all this is simply sticking to it.
