The road condition for the most part is excellent because our city is progressive and is making progress on that front. It has nearly tripled since then with a population of about 110,000 at the 2000 census. The northeast part of town (near I-10 and I-49) is the slummy area. We are currently the 4th largest city in Louisiana behind Shreveport (which is losing population and plaged by crime, though it is getting better) and also the fastest growing area in Louisiana.

You're close to the interstate and back roads make it easy to get to the Mall area.
